Pursued a politics senior thesis which dissected the levels by which progressive state laws are created by researching both California and Wisconsin's condom stealthing bills as well as their legal histories. Constructed qualitative timelines to track the development of sexual assault laws within both states and to detect common factors which could have contributed to progressive sexual violence legislation--such as advocacy on Public University campuses. Gender Equity Indicators for the City Hub and Network for Gender Equity (CHANGE)
Published Research with Office of Mayor of Los Angeles| January 2021-May 2021
Worked with a task force of eight other students to create a set of 30 actionable and localized indictors to measure progress toward the most critical aspects of gender equity in city governance and life for the City Hub and Network for Gender Equity (CHANGE). Collaborated with other task force members on researching and writing an external policy report about our proposed indicators, innovative gender equity initiatives, and short and long-term areas for growth in local measurement. Presented the task force's findings and recommendations to city government officials from Barcelona, Freetown, London, Los Angeles, Mexico City, and Tokyo. Developed an internal best practices document with resources and recommendations for future student task forces at Pomona and Occidental Colleges. To read the report, please click here.

Remote Alternative Independent Summer Experience (RAISE) Grant

Collaborated with South Asian international artists to write, perform, and remotely produce the film “Belonging” which premiered through the Singapore Poetry Festival from August 28th-September 6th. Presented work on the “Explorations in Gender and Women’s Studies” panel.
